CANDLE CARE

~ Do not light candles under loose hanging fabrics. Keep candles at least 12 inches away from anything flammable, such as curtains, decorations and papers. Place canister or glass vessel on a heat-resistant surface.

~ The canister & even burn topper will be hot. Allow to cool before touching or moving.

~ As a good rule of thumb, it is best to burn your candle for 2-3 hours at a time. This will maximize the candle's life and help create a full melt pool of wax. Consider your room's surface area and height. Larger rooms require larger candles or more candles.

~ Recycle your candle container. Clean the remaining wax with hot water and use the glass or tin container as you please.

~ B&CK gentle scented candles will burn cleanly and safely. Always keep candles within sight and never leave them unattended.

~ Remember to put any candles out before leaving the room for a long period of time. Keep all candles within sight and away from children, pets and hanging fabrics.

Trim the Wick Regularly

~ Trimming the wick of your candle to 1/4 inch before each use prevents smoking, soot buildup, and ensures a clean, even burn.

~ This simple step promotes a longer-lasting candle and enhances the fragrance throw.

Avoid Drafts and Overburning

~ Place your candles away from drafts to prevent uneven burning and potential safety hazards.

~ As a general rule of thumb, avoid burning candles for more than 3 hours at a time to maintain their quality and prevent tunneling.

Proper Extinguishing Techniques

~ Always extinguish your candle by using a snuffer or gently blowing it out to prevent hot wax splatter.

~Avoid using water to put out the flame, as this can damage the candle and affect its future burns.

~ Always allow the candle to cool completely before relighting.
